Now that my son has left the nest for college (*sniff* Like most teachers, I'm idealistic, empathetic, funny, and extremely attractive. Also like most teachers, I'm never going to be independently wealthy; However, I can take care of myself and send my son to college - with the added bonus that I'm shaping young minds. I'm happy with my life.I like to stay active and healthy, but I'd much rather go on a hike or play sports than hang out at a gym. Exercise is important for me because I love to cook and eat. Someday I'd like to eat my way around the world like a culinary Pacman; no cuisine is off limits (although I don't have much of a sweet tooth). Recently I've returned to acting. Theater and theater people are the best.Years ago my friends dubbed the music I listen to "wuss rock," and I'm only mildly ashamed to admit that that's pretty apt. I gravitate towards intelligent, overly-earnest British bands who aren't ashamed to be open about their feelings.+ I also refuse to apologize for my love of Abba. And I love movies of any genre - especially if they are interesting, well-acted, and well-written. (Or the opposite - my son and I have watched Birdemic 3 times together.)Ultimately I'm looking for someone who's passionate, affectionate, confident and quirky. A sexy, happy best friend.
