Some tidbits about me:Outdoors is where the heart is: camping (even in the winter!), hiking, anything on the water, skiing, etc. If it's outside, I'm game!Travelling is one of the best ways to learn about yourself, other people, and the world. I'm a culture buff: theatre, food, art, music. Music and dance are breath to me. I take care of my body by staying active and eating well. I'll do anything to break a sweat but my routine is always changing. This summer I'm into running, spin classes, yoga (always), and ultimate. I try to eat a largely vegetarian diet with lots of fresh fruit and veggies. I'm totally a sucker for gourmet food though, cooking and eating out. I work in the community and I love to give and help. My job is awesome as it allows me to feel that I can make a difference, and it motivates me to make a difference. The ability to feel, express, empathize, forgive, and have compassion is a strength, not a weakness.One of my best friends and I recently tried to describe each other in one word. She picked passionate for me. I think that's pretty on the mark. I care about a lot of things and do my best to live with integrity and act on the things I care and feel strongly about. I've also been told that I'm infectiously fun and enthusiastic, but I think you should decide for yourself. I don't want my children to own a television. (Although, they will be obsolete soon enough. Crap.)I would like to adopt and I'm seriously thinking about being a foster parent... in the distant future.I'm a feminist, in the best way possible. If that's a negative for you then we aren't for each other. :)I'm a busy gal and always have a few side things on the go apart from working full time, but don't worry, when the right person comes along, I've got my priorities straight. I'm willing to slow down a little for the right person.I have high expectations, of myself and my significant other, not in terms of traditional monetary achievement, but living an authentic and genuine life, by walking the walk and leading by example. I'm looking for someone with whom I've crazy chemistry. Passion is important to me, obviously. Playfulness and fun in a relationship are essential and trust is vital. Mega ***if you can be silly and not take yourself too seriously! Kindness is a big turn on for me and good communication and conflict resolution skills make me swoon.
