About Me

My philosophy on life: Every single one of us has something to offer to the rest; dogs truly are man's best friends (How can you not love something that is so glad to see you EVERYTIME you come home?); There's nothing better than the beach and warm weather; the glass is always half full; and the "golden rule" is the most important rule on earth.A little more detail about me: If you see me at work or in a public setting, you'd never guess that I’m a natural introvert. I'm outgoing, enjoy social settings, conversation, and learning about what makes people "tick" but when it comes to "recharging my batteries," I do it alone. I don't know why that is, but I do have to (periodically) have some time to myself. This characteristic has led some in the past to (wrongly) misconstrue my desire to be alone as disinterest or apathy when, in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. It’s my little “quirk” and I’ve learned that I can’t assume everyone understands this about me so I try hard to ensure that those around understand my true feelings. Otherwise, I'm kind, considerate, intuitive, romantic (I love to surprise others with unexpected gifts), sarcastic, competitive, driven, and I live for today but (always) plan for tomorrow. Other things: If you're looking for a man who's good in the kitchen, I'm not your guy. The only thing I like about food is eating it! I have no interest in cooking, would rather get a root canal than wash the dishes, and taking me to the grocery store is like taking your dog to the vet! Laundry? Yuck! Cleaning the house? Boo!! But wait--before you hit the "no thanks" button, I do own practically every tool known to man and love to work on the yard/do home improvement projects. In fact, that's what I do when I need the alone time I spoke of--so my introversion and disdain for everyday house work isn't all that bad now is it? Another thing--fitness and living a healthy lifestyle are extremely important to me so if you are active and like being outdoors, we have a lot in common. (I didn't go to FSU but my college didn't even have a football team so I get a pass!) Wanna travel? Oh yeah, I'm your guy. I'm all for establishing report and ensuring we feel comfortable with each other before meeting but we won't know if the right chemistry is there until we meet in person. So please do not expect me to spend a lot of time *** talking on the phone before we meet each other. It's not only a potential waste of time but giving someone you don't know all of your background information is far more dangerous than meeting them in a public place at a time and place of your choosing. Come on people!
