About Me

I hate writing these things, but I suppose it can't be a blank page so here goes. I really enjoy music, and am quite opinionated regarding what I consider to be good. This applies to most genres, with the exception of country, which I could generally do without. I am a musician and played in various bands up until a few years ago, when I grew tired of lugging equipment to clubs. Now my music is confined to playing guitar around the house. I am a civil engineer by occupation, and really enjoy my job for the most part. I would consider myself to be quite handy around the house (or anything really). I enjoy anything new to try that challenges the mind.I read quite a bit. I just finished reading "Outliers" I have two nephews, ages 5 and 2, who are adorable and so much fun. I have a younger brother who I really respect (most of the time), and a great sister-in-law. I guess that's it until I think of something else to say. Drinks somewhere casual, ideally with a good jukebox
