About Me

So here's my situation... I'm looking for a fellow adventurer. Someone who works well with me on big adventures but at the same time, even when we go to Wegman's, we have a blast. Maybe we'll check out museums or do some wine tasting or maybe we'll go on a crazy weekend roadtrip. If it seems like an adventure, big or small, we'll do it. And then we'll crash on the couch and relax and recount the craziness.I'm a 37 year old Professor of Theatre at a small private college in the finger lakes. I teach mostly acting courses and in the summer I usually try to work as a professional actor. A couple of months ago it was Shakespeare. Shakespeare actually kind of became my speciality which is funny because I grew up skateboarding and playing little league and listening to Run DMC and now I've done Shakespeare all over the country. Unreal. It also makes me laugh when someone's profile says that they don't want "drama".... drama is my profession.I love to travel and my goal is to hit 50 countries, 50 states, and all 7 continents. I'm at 21 countries right now so I'm doing pretty well. I just got back from two weeks in Tokyo which was awesome. My favorite place so far is the island of Bali in Indonesia. It's just unreal. I'm heading back there this winter. l also like music and, back in my twenties I worked as a DJ to supplement my acting. I spun at a variety of places around the country and while I don't do anything like that anymore, I do still love to listen to music. I also like to exercise. I run ***times a week. Don't get me wrong though, I love going to my favorite mom and pop pizza joints or grabbing some ice cream or a glass of wine. I run hard so I can eat the fun stuff.Life is a blast. I have my responsible professor job, and my house, and my car and all that, yet I still find time for some fun adventure. Now I'm hoping to find a fellow adventurer to go hand in hand with me through the craziness of life. It's always more fun if you can experience it with the perfect person at your side.I think ideally, two people need to be able to do 5 things well in order to work well together.They need to be able to make each other laugh.They need to be able to solve problems well together.They need to be able to smooch well together.They need to be able to fight productively together.They need to, in some fashion, admire something about each other.So, I'm looking for the person I can do those 5 things with.So... now it's time for the official "magazine-esque" compatibility quiz!!!1) Will you go sledding with me?2) If we were on a crazy roadtrip and I put in hip hop from the 80's and 90's, would you dig it?
