I am an honest, committed, principled guy who is looking for someone to share my life with. My original plans were to find one woman to build a family with and spend the rest of my life centered around that one person and our children. Even though that is not how life has worked out, I am excited for the chance to meet someone who lights up my world and I can build the rest of my lfe around.I have my kids 50% of the time, but the rest of the time I am always looking to stay busy with something fun outdoors.I hope to find someone who can balance a busy family life, with an active outdoor life, and a little bit of travel. I believe in doing things *** having things. I love to go running with someone as a date. (I love trail running) It is a great, no pressure way to get to know someone. I have found that I need to know if I can be someone's friend before I can figure out if I want to be romantically involved with them. I say that because I have known women to get a little confused when we are on the fifth date and we are still "just talking". I am in no rush.I am well established in my career. My job allows me to travel a bit and do and see cool things. My job keeps me busy. But I am able to balance family and fun time with it.I am very active in my faith. This means I have pretty firm rules about some stuff I will do before marriage. That may be a deal-breaker for some people and that is just fine. It is good to know that up front.I am looking for someone who is attractive, trim, active, and has taken good care of her appearance. I have found that I have a difficult time being attracted to anyone who is older than me and that I prefer women to be a few years younger. I also need someone local. When I find someone I would love things to be spontaneous enough to pop over late in the evening to go for a walk. That means I probably wont date anyone over 45 minutes away. Lastly, but this is not a deal breaker, I prefer someone with kids because they understand the dynamics of a busy household and that life can't always be about your own needs at any moment.
