About Me

I'm not looking for a random hookup or a one night stand. I'm not looking for an immediate marriage but I am at an age where it would be nice to find somebody to settle down with. I am educated, hard working, honest, loyal and strong. I can cook. I am a homebody. I work. I don't live with my parents. I drive. I am a combination of the biggest guy at the gym and the nerd you see with his face buried in a book. I go to church but that seems to surprise people who have known me. I tend to use a lot of sarcasm in my humor and my taste in entertainment is older than I am. If these aspects don’t appeal to you then I am probably not what you’re looking for. I enjoy reading classic novels, history texts and comic books but I try not to start a conversation about them because I realize that many people may not care. When I can, I enjoy spending my Saturday mornings watching watching old cartoons. I will watch just about any movie once but my favorites include a lot of bad 80’ I'm not much of a gamer but if you pull out Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Sonic: The Hedgehog or Starfox 64 I may play them for a while. I don’t like a lot of people but I will give the shirt off my back for those who matter. I am looking for someone whose conversation and interests keep my attention. I would prefer someone who has not been married or had kids. I am looking for someone who is patient, honest, loyal and understanding. I come with a bit of emotional baggage but for the right person I am a huge catch. I go by Ogre. I know it's a quirk but if you can get past it, I have a lot of good qualities. I would tell you that I probably have a few extra pounds on me but after viewing how men market themselves on here, I don't think it's unfair to say that I'm in better shape or more muscular than some of the guys who market themselves as an athletic or average body type. I wear a 34" waist, a 52" chest and I can do a ***minute workout when necessary.     I'm an entrepreneurship major at UNCG and I work 2 part time jobs. It's exhausting, but I'm maintaining. I toured the world in a relatively successful band for 3 years and I'm ready to be a grown up. The fast life is not the life for me (I'm in a folk band now).
