I have never been married, nor do I have any childen. I love the outdoors, and any activities outdoors, such as hiking.I am a retired educator, and presently looking for a pat-time job. I have always aspired to be an author of childrens' books.My childhood has always given me great memories, and I find that children are interested about past experiences.I love to read, but presently am having a difficult time getting enough reading time.To be unique is to set a person apart from others. The fact that I have not been married, and have no children at my age is very rare. I have dated in the past, but I am looking for a true gentleman. Someone who will be there when I need themI am a person who loves to travel, and loves to try new experiences in life.I mostly ike the classic rock style of music, especially the 70's. I also enjoy listening to Contemporary Christian.This style of music is so uplifting, and I believe all people could use more positive in their lives..I do not do the bar scene, so that is one reason I am using this approach to dating. I have never turned to dating sitesbefore, but realize the chances of meeting someone that is compatible with me is not going to happen, unless I try to help myself. I would like to try friendship first , and see if there is a connection.I find water to be very relaxing. I believe a first date should be a short meeting over coffee. If we find that we are compatible, maybe the date can extend.I believe that two people who believe they have a connection should exxperience as many different activities as possible. This will help both to see each other in many different situations. I also believe that there has to be some type of physical, emotional connection as well.
