About Me

I had a very good sales job but wasn't happy at my job or living in the windy city anymore, so I took the plunge. I came up here not knowing a soul, so thank God for google and MapQuest...lol. Once up here, I decided to change careers. I was tired of the typical 'office' job and I have always loved animals, so I thought I would give the dog grooming field a try. I literally had to start from scratch and build a career again but it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I started out working at a corporate company, who put me through dog grooming school, and now I work for a vet clinic. It is challenging, but also very rewarding. No matter what is going on in my life or how I wake up in the morning, there is always 'that dog' that puts a smile on my face. When I'm not working I enjoy going out for dinner/drinks, listening to a good band, walking around at festivals, being active outdoors, catching a good movie, and most importantly........wait for it.......!!!!! :) There's also times, staying in and ordering take-out is just as appealing. I'm looking for someone who is kind and caring, a good communicator, and has a bit of a sarcastic side (in a funny way, of course). If any of this looks appealing, please drop me a line.
