About Me

I'm a single mother of 2 children, ages 12 & 14. I decided a few years ago to go back to school. In May ***, I earned an associates' degree in liberal arts with honors and an associates' degree in science with honors. I love roller coasters, loud music and anything worth doing once, if not twice. I'm a friendly, outgoing and usually in a great mood. Life definitely has its challenges, but it is an experiment, one that fails on occasion and succeeds more often than not.I've recently become a fan of football! (gasp) It was a huge shocker to me, too. Since my daughter is in the marching band at school, and my son now plays football, I've really had no choice but to learn to appreciate the game. I have to say, I kinda like yelling at the TV on Sunday afternoons. I don't know who I have more fun yelling at... Bring in Yates and make Case back up QB!I'm an independent woman who is not looking for a man to "take care of my children and I". I do that very well all by myself. I'm opinionated, but not too stubborn. We can agree to disagree on everything political, because we probably will disagree. I don't like drama or mind games. I have strong convictions and refuse to compromise them for anyone or anything. I love to engage in an intellectual conversation with someone who is able to hold his own. I'm not the most intelligent person on the planet, but I'm not the dullest knife in the drawer, either. When asked to describe my personality, I like to say this.....I'm easy to excite, but damn difficult to impress. When I meet someone it's almost a promise you'll never meet another person quite like me...although, I do have a twin sister, even she only comes close! Now that you have some sort of idea who I am...drop a line if you want to say hello. A first date for me could be anything from a quiet dinner and a movie, to a night watching the latest band rock the house until closing time.
