....I've always said I'd rather be alone that be with someone who makes me unhappy....yet I'm a hopeless romantic who has not given up yet! I am looking for someone who appreciates and respects me as much as I do them. I enjoy laughter, music, movies, reading, cooking, coffee, a beer or rum/diet on occasion, and the little things in life. I do like to go out and explore new places but find just as much joy staying at home and spending quality with family.I am a Tarheel fan...and I won't apologize for it! Yes, I do know they suck at football...but I don't care! I am not a sports fanatic but do know how to follow football ( Go Falcons! Go Dawgs! Go Heels!)...love going to baseball games (Go Braves!)...and love Winter Olympics! I forgot to mention my Heels...love college basketball! I do hit the gym a few days a week...it's great for weight loss and stress! I strive to better myself each day and make the best of any obstacles. So if you've gotten this far - there must be something about me that intrigued you! The BBW filtered out quite a few I'm sure - but not all are willing to know a person's beauty from within. I'm not for everyone...and have made great strides in being healthy and fit. I feel that being honest up front is always the best policy. My trainer encourages me to look back and appreciate how far I've come...and then look ahead to see where I'm going! Trying to summarize myself to someone I do not know...to catch their attention to get them to want to know me...is not easy! But here I am ...trying to do just that! I'm sure there is so much I missed...so just ask. Good luck in your journey! First dates are the make or the break! It's important to get to know a person to see if there is second date interest. Conversation is very important...and seeing if the person has a sense of humor and shares the same interests.I think meeting a coffee shop or smaller/personal place is best on a first date! If either person decides they want the date to move forward- there's always options. If the date isn't quite what either expected...no harm in meeting a stranger for a quick coffee and then going on your way!

    Hmm talk about me. I am loyal. I believe in family and love. I always try to see the best in people and sometimes that's my downfall. I hate games.
