I'm very open about certain things in my life, but I use it almost as a shield to protect the closer aspects of myself. I love to organize and pay close attentions to details. I have a Christian faith, not a religion, and I don't try to witness to others unless they ask. I had a wild time in college, but that got old fast. I've been single for so long now that I've learned most of what there is to know about myself and who I am. I'm secure in my identity. Now I'm ready to take the next step and share my life with someone. I have military college background, and probably of little OCD, so I like to take charge. However, I would love nothing better than for someone to challenge me and push me. My personality can be very intense, and it takes someone secure and strong to hold up against it. I want someone who will not let me walk all over them, but force me to work with them. I'm politically constitutionalist/conservative. Even if I start out shy when I meet someone new, I'm not reserved. I know that overall I am a strong-willed woman.I love to travel to new places. So far I've only been out of the country twice. I'm a big history and literature buff, so getting to go to places I've only read about would be a dream come true.I have a detail oriented hard work attitude when it comes to my job, but when it comes to my days off, I tend to get lazy unless given motivation to do something. I plan on getting a personal trainer in the next few months, so my description saying that I want to lose a few can be changed to athletic. I miss my soccer body and want it back, but I find working out alone or in a group or with one friend doesn't push me to my limits like a personal trainer would.I love to read, watch movies, go out to new places, play sports, and do things. I'm very hands on when it comes to fun activities.I'm relatively conservative, but I am accepting of others differences and don't reject friendships due to that.I'm into guns, so I love to go clay shooting, or target practice, or even just loading bullets or shells and cleaning my collection. I'm not the kind to memorize dozens of types of guns and their calibers and specs, so I can't talk shop like that. Same goes for cars. I love learning how to fix things in my car on my own. So far I can change brake pads, rotors, oil, air filter, and lights, but I'd love to learn more. I'm a greasy monkey in the making.I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor, but it's all in good fun. It usually takes a little while for my funny side to come out.I'm looking for a serious relationship that will lead to marriage. I've never dated just for the sake of dating and being able to say I had a significant other. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to gender roles in marriage. I would look to you for the spiritual leadership in the household. And yes, I would make you that sandwich while I'm in the kitchen cooking dinner for the family. I would like nothing better than to be that ultimate stay at home mom, where I make sure the kids are all set for each day, the house is clean, I go to the PTA meetings, bring the kids to sports practices, music lessons, etc, and still get dinner on the table.Since I know I'm a strong willed person, I know that the guy I'm looking for is also strong and a leader that I would willingly let go of all the controls for. I tend to be more reserved and nervous on a first date, so doing something active with less pressure compared to a dinner interview would be best. Gives me a chance to get comfortable and break the ice. Something like rock climbing, going to an amusement park, or any hands on type of activity where chatting is not the main focus.
