I've been divorced for a few years and have tried this whole dating site thing in the past with very little luck. Met some very nice (and some not so nice) people, but just haven't found the one who "clicks". Would love to meet someone who takes my breath away each and every time I see him, even if he just left the room for a second. I still believe in "jitters" and hope someday to experience those feelings again. Maybe I'm being unrealistic, but I believe that true love really does exist out there... somewhere.The last few years of being a single mom have reminded me that I'm a pretty strong, self sufficient broad who can tackle darned near any catastrophe that comes my way (I really should have been a plumber with as many toilets as I've had to fix). But being strong and self sufficient doesn't mean that I don't have room in my life for some grown-up male companionship. I have two older teenaged boys still at home (who both have way more of a social life than I do), but they're pretty much past the point of wanting to spend time with mom. I really miss having a connection with someone my own age.I'm hoping to meet someone who loves the Lord, is kind, and above all, honest.
