I am an active and funny woman looking for someone who is both fun and funny. To answer the iqueston on your mind...yes I still have a southern accent. You can take the girl out of the south but you can't take the south out of the girl. I love country music and dancing but I also loeb many types of music. My favorite place is the ocean and I do prefer east coast beaches over the west, however, it is beautiful here on the Puget Sound. I love to cook almost as much as I love to eat and I do cook southern too. I like my independence and am never lonely or bored but my children are grown and even though I have a grandaughter most people think I'm her mom. I like to hike, play basketball and swim. Staying active is important but every once in awhile it's fun to stzy in bed and watch movies and eat junk food all day. I wonder if there are any honest men or women out there at times but ever the optimist I'll hold out hope. I am about to venture on a new career path and am excited to see where that takes me as I've been doing the same type of work since I graduated. I would like to travel more in the future as I have traveled a lot since childhood plus my entire large family is still on the east coast. I visit my family at least once a year. I love to read and feel I learn quite a bit from what I read. Most of my friends and family would be shocked I'm even thinking about dating because I have so much fun all by myself. I feel it will take a special guy to win me over so if you are persistant with lots of jokes and self confidence then, well just maybe you might win the blonde haired, blue eyed little southern spitfire of a girl over. Who knows what may be if we don't give dating ...again...another chance. Whoops, that sounded a bit pessimistic. My first date...hmmmm...well, I sure do like surprises and a great immagination if that helps. I will even offer to do the second date if the first is a winner.
