About Me

I work full time as a toddler teacher at a childcare facility and part time as a waitress at a small family cafe. I am also going to UNO to complete my degree in General Studies through the division of continuing studies program. I have been thrown some curve balls in the last few years but I am much stronger because of it and I am loving life and looking forward to what the future brings!Deal Breakers: Please don’t message me if you are not looking for a relationship that could possibly lead to marriage, are not interested in dating someone who has a child, and/or are not a giving person who enjoys being able to help and develop the lives of others. I am a natural nurturer, I love taking care of people and I’m extremely good at taking care of, and loving, almost everyone around me. Because of this strength of mine, I have a tendency to allow myself to put others before myself. I am looking for someone who will want to take care of me in return. I have been through many trials, I am a very strong woman, however, I have yet to find a true man who is capable of taking care of himself, as well as desires to take care of his family (physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually). Church is a very important part of my life. It helps me clear my mind of daily stresses and focus on prayer and what really matters in life. Having God in my life has helped me to grow as a better person and mother for my daughter.I love working with children and I'm working towards broadening my knowledge to see what other aspects of helping children I may be interested in. I have a long term goal of owning a home one day for my daughter to grow up in. Most of my best childhood memories are from my neighborhood with all the other kids when I was growing up. My number one goal is to continue raising my daughter the best I can and to provide her the best life possible.Strengths: Hard worker, caring, loving, determined, independent, positive, motivator, great communication skills, planner, goal oriented. Weaknesses: I care a lot about others and do my best to help people close to me and because of this I sometimes invest more into others than I do for myself, putting myself last. I went through some negative environments which caused my self-esteem to go down and though I have focused a lot on improving this, I am sometimes too hard on myself.The Kind of Person I am looking for: First and foremost, someone who enjoys children and wants to be around children as I have my daughter almost all of the time. I am looking for someone who can accept me for my weaknesses. Even though for the most part, I am a very positive person, I can be highly self critical and need to be told sometimes that I’m perfect the way I am. I want a guy who can tell me that and actually believe his own words when he tells me them. I am looking for someone I can go places with, talk to and just enjoy time with, become great friends with and just see where it goes. Someone who appreciates me for who I am. Someone who has some of the similar interests I do and likes to plan ahead... (Camping, swimming, animals, children, movies, books, etc.) I believe that trust, respect, communication and religion are very important in any type of relationship and I am looking for someone who values those beliefs as well. Meeting up for a drink or coffee somewhere.Going for a walk outside around a lake or downtown.Anything simple that doesn't involve a lot of distraction to allow a better opportunity for good conversation.I love dinner and movie dates, but I don't think it is a good first date option.

    I'm an east coast transplant who moved out here almost 3 years ago to start my career. My job is rewarding and I've met a great group of friends here, but I find myself still wanting to meet new people.I have a great love of learning and like to try new things, read, and travel to explore different cultures/see pieces of history.
