About Me

Hi there! Well my pic caught your eye so hopefully you like what u read :) I work part to full-time as a medical assistant. I am financially stable so I'm not out here to find someone to support me. I have two kids ages 8 and 11 who are #1 in my life. Their dad is active with seeing them on a weekly basis. I'm a cat person (have 4) but have 2 dogs too. I love life and all living has to offer. Some of my dreams are to travel the world as well as become a naturopathic doctor. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle and love to do all kinds of outdoor things but am content indoors on rainy days for example attending shared cooking evenings with friends or that special someone. I own my own home and have good credit so I'm looking for a guy who has a sense of responsibility. In a man, I would love someone who has similar interests as I do and also someone with the same belief system. I believe in spirits and reincarnation. I believe in fate and karma. I love to cook and eat organic foods, I compost my scraps, don't litter (pick up trash as I walk down the street) and do my part to volunteer in the community. My ideal guy would have a similar lifestyle. Also, I need someone who knows how to communicate with me and who doesn't carry too much baggage. I have my own but have worked through much of it and have packed it up neatly so I'm looking for a drama free relationship. Someone I can actually call my friend. Someone with drive, ambition, passion, and will-power. Someone who wears the pants and who can understand me for who I am and all I've been through. Someone who won't take advantage of the kindness and love i give. I really want to someday find my soulmate and share everything life has to offer. I love to travel so I'm hoping to meet someone who wants to see the world with a genuine person to keep him company. I'm passionate about life and I want to live each moment to the fullest. Oh yea, and I think I'm funny and am looking for a guy with a great sense of humor who can make me laugh!!!It is essential to me that the person I date and I are compatable as friends before we take anything further. We must also be able to travel well together. I'm easy going yet have my "things" I like to keep up while traveling (like the search for bedbugs, or preference for walking than driving, and I don't like carrying stuff, I prefer to leave as much stuff as possible in the car or room for example)... I don't drink often at all so I'm a lightweight but can definitely handle my liquor. Everyone has their quirks they have and I like getting to know someone's because its what makes them who they are and I love learning what makes people unique. I love my tempurpedic mattress. I love ribeye steak.One of my favorite mottos I like to live by is: "don't sweat the small stuff." Living by that helps me stay in a space where I can easily compromise and be accepting of almost any situation for what it is and the experience it gives me.I am healthy and getting my body in shape so I expect my man to do the same, therefore, if you have "a few extra pounds," please don't waste your time on me. I'm sorry if that sounds vain but I'm really not attracted to large men, unless they are pretty solid. The way you keep your body is a good indication of your overall mental and physical health so it says a lot. I work out at the gym 3-5x a week and I am addicted to sweating in the sauna. Thanks.Last I wanted to say that I'm a huge fan of trance and house music. I grew up in the "rave scene" and that music just keeps me alive. It's the music I listen to that touches my soul and can always get me moving on the dance floor, or in the house, or car, or anywhere else I hear it. I like a few other types of music, but doesn't hit me where this stuff does... I like jazz and classical as well as a little hip hop and dance music. I enjoy some classic rock but I'm sorry, I can't do metal... Nowadays it is extremely common to go to lunch or coffee on a first date. I'm okay with that, as I love food and coffee, however, since I am here to mainly make new friends to make good memories with, then anything is good! Lets take a hike or go on a bike ride! Let's go to mini-golf, lets go walk around the Japanese garden, or the Chinese garden. Heck, we should go to a Blazers game! If you really want a date, then lets get to know each other first online and if we seem compatible, we can meet up. I have limited time so I prefer to spend it with someone who seems awesome. I'm easy to please so lets go make some memories and have some fun! Please do NOT message me asking to go to the river and get drunk... No I will not accept your invitation of getting drunk at the river and put myself in a risky situation with a stranger. Sorry- it will be denied.
