Men Say Natural, But Poll Results Tell a Different Story

Natural beauty gains back its respect and importance. A poll conducted by Pair (dating app to find the right person) between 5/12/14 and 8/25/14 posed the following question: “Do you like silicone breasts?” The results indicate that 41% fancy silicone breasts, while 59% disapprove of such body enhancement.

Respondents numbered 48,017. From the USA — 62%, from Canada — 3%, from Britain — 11%, from Australia — 8% and from other countries — 16%.

Dr. Jennifer Walden, a plastic surgeon based in Austin, Texas, believes: “Breasts in all their sizes and shapes are beautiful and one of the most amazing physical features on a woman. As to whether or not small breasts are about to become ‘fashionable’ is anyone’s guess. Ultimately it comes down to each woman’s personal take on their own breasts and the potential health risk they may want to take in the name of beauty.”

The results among men and women were interesting: with a margin of 56% (78–22) breast implants are mostly supported by men.

Alex Cusper, a Pair service analyst, admits preferences vary from guy to guy. However, he notes: “A woman with breast implants asks to be regarded. It really isn’t about size; it’s about her attitude. That’s a provocation most men welcome.”
