Little bit about me.... I just bought my first house so I am working on making it feel like a home. It's nice to have a fun night out on the town with friends but I'm just as content hanging out and bbqing in the back yard on a warm summer night. I love to cook and bake. I like exploring the city and checking out new restaurants and nightlife with the friends. Some things I'd like to do ...1. Travel more.2. Learn how to ski/snowboard. I'm sure I'll spend most of my time on the bunny slopes on my tush but I think it would be fun!3. Learn how to surf. I absolutely love the beach but have never had the opportunity to learn to surf.What I'm looking for... I want a nice southern gentleman. A guy who has manners and knows how to be respectful around a woman or anyone for that matter. A guy who values his family and friends. Someone who will laugh with me when I'm happy and give me a hug after a bad day. Someone who can keep up with my witty/sassy humor. Someone who is settled in their life and knows who they are and what they want. Confidence is a very attractive quality. Saying what you mean and meaning what you say. I really didn't want to include this on my profile but to be honest/fair, I prefer to date Caucasian men only. It sounds cliche but dinner and drinks is the best first date. Something casual and fun.     What should i say in this about me section, I know most guys only come on this to look at the pictures, some are actually interested in meeting to date others are just looking for fun. So with that said i'll just state the basic.-time and part-time job. My life is far from extravagant to say the least. I honestly barely ever get out and I do what I can to stay a float and least try to pay the bills. I'd love to get out, always up for something new and fun. If I was able to afford it i'd love to spend an hour or so working out at the gym. I also love to take day trips, visit amusement parks, go out to see a movie at the theater. I even enjoy spending a night in with some take out and and a movie. At this very moment I'm not really sure what I do want, I admit there are days that I find myself lonely, I miss the feeling of being in a relationship where there's always a person there to talk to and spend time with. Other days I enjoy being able to come home after a long day at work to just myself and I kick back and relax. I'm open to taking a chance on the dating scene and seeing how it goes. Providing the right person does come along then i'd be happy tp try a relationship. I'm not sure how much longer I plan on living in RI, as I stated I'm pretty much on my Own Alone. Recently just learned that the only brother I seldom kept in touch with has moved to FL. I am somewhat besides myself on what to do, My mom is residing in a nursing home here in RI., She's still physically here but i've lost her mentally due to borderline alzheimer's/dementia. It was hard to see her start going through the early stages and I now have no idea how far away in her mind she is. So of course if I do end up moving away she'll always be at the the back of my mind. Originally I figured I'd stay here because of her but i'm now contemplating what to do. So for now I reside here alone and continue to work and try to stay afloat. Not really trying to meet anyone but who knos. Perhaps i'll either reunite with someone and or someone new will come along and in the between its just all about taking chances. open to pretty much anything although I do believe that your first day should definitely Not be at the bar. Make it fun spontaneous and special.
